Sunleo Window Coverings Inc. (“Sunleo”, “we”, “us”) operates sunleoblinds.ca. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, who we share it with, and how long we keep it. It applies to this website only.

We are a mobile window-covering business based at 7 Country Hills Link NW, Calgary, AB T3K 4W4, serving Calgary & surrounding area.

Information you give us

When you submit our consultation or quote form, we collect the name, email address and phone number you enter, along with the window-covering style you select and any project details you choose to add. The message field is optional; everything else is required so we can contact you and arrange a visit.

We do not ask for payment details through this website, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

Information collected automatically

When you arrive from an online advertisement, the link may carry identifiers that tell us which campaign brought you here — Google click identifiers (gclid, gbraid, wbraid) and campaign tags (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term, utm_content). We also record which page you landed on and the referring website.

These values are stored in your browser’s local storage under the key sunleo_attribution for up to 90 days, so that if you browse several pages before enquiring we can still tell which advertisement led to your enquiry. They are submitted with the form and are not used to identify you personally. Clearing your browser’s site data removes them.

Cookies and analytics

On our live website we use Google tags, which set cookies in your browser:

• Google Analytics 4 (property G-Q0YWBHW345) — measures pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, and how visitors move through the site. This is aggregate traffic measurement, not individual profiling.
• Google Ads conversion tracking (AW-18350666494) — records when a form submission or phone call follows an advertisement, so we can tell which ads produce genuine enquiries.
• Google Ads call reporting — on some visits the phone number shown may be a forwarding number, so a call can be attributed to the advertisement that prompted it. Calls connect to us normally.

These cookies are set by Google, and their use is governed by Google’s Privacy Policy. You can opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s browser add-on, block cookies in your browser settings, or adjust your Google Ad Settings. Blocking them does not affect your ability to use this site or contact us.

How we use your information

We use what you submit to reply to your enquiry, arrange and carry out your in-home measurement, prepare your quote, and complete an order if you go ahead. We use the advertising and analytics data to understand which campaigns and pages bring genuine enquiries, and to spend our advertising budget sensibly. We do not use your information for automated decision-making, and we do not send marketing email unless you ask us to.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that make this website work:

• Resend — delivers your form submission to us by email.
• Vercel — hosts this website and processes the requests your browser makes to it.
• Google — provides the analytics and advertising measurement described above.
• Installers and suppliers — only the details needed to measure, manufacture and fit your order.

Some of these providers process data outside Canada, including in the United States. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become orders are kept for up to 24 months, since customers often return a season or two later. Records relating to completed orders are kept for 7 years to meet Canadian tax and business-record requirements. Google Analytics data expires on Google’s own retention schedule. Advertising identifiers stored in your browser expire after 90 days.

Your rights

Under Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) you may ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email care@sunleoblinds.ca and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Security

This website is served over HTTPS, and form submissions are encrypted in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we limit access to enquiry data to the people who need it to serve you.
